Audition Affects
Audition Affects for Still Image Video
For my still image video, I will be focusing my topic on a "How To". For this, I will be able to utilize different audio affects available in Adobe Audition. In this post, I will be explaining what I would use and why I would choose these specifically.
Cutting Out Awkward Pauses
With the razor tool, I will be able to cut out awkward pauses or uses of the word "um" in the audio recording of my voice. This makes the audio sound more clean and will lessen the likeliness of the listener feeling awkward or uncomfortable while listening to the video.
Using a background noise to introduce/end the video
Utilizing the thousands of background songs, sounds, or instrumentals of all different genres given from the "Free Music Archive"may make the video more desirable to watch for the viewer. Using music makes the experience more enjoyable, and even more relatable if a popular song or beat is used throughout the video in the background.
Smoothing out transitions between cuts
After using the razor tool, the transitions between each part of the audio might seem very choppy and awkward. Smoothing out the transitions is a must for the audio in the video, as this will make the video look as if the maker took the extra step to make sure the audio sounded right to the listener.
If applied, these steps will lead to using a seamless audio track for the How To video I create for the Still Image video project.
