Commercials and Accessibility

Bud Light Vendor Commercial

Hearing-Impaired Accessibility
Overall, this commercial could be understood at the basic level by a person who is hearing-impaired. The concept of the vendor being everywhere, at good and bad times, is shown clearly throughout the commercial. At the end, it is obvious that the vendor needs to be back where he belongs, selling the product at a baseball game.

Hearing-Impaired Improvements
To make this commercial more accessible, I believe that adding simple subtitles throughout the commercial could make it better.  Adding subtitles at the end when the slogan is playing would especially help the hearing-impaired understand the purpose of the commercial more.

Visually-Impaired Accessibility
By just listening to the audio of this commercial, a person can understand at most times what is going on and where the setting is taking place.  The commercial editors placed perfect sound effects in good places, such as playing the sound of the baseball game and when the main character is in the shower.  Those definitely helped enhance the understanding of the concepts in the commercial.

Visually-Impaired Improvements
To improve this commercial for the visually-impaired, I would suggest to the editors to add more sound effects or background music to make the places where the commercial is happening more clear.
