Accessible Video Final Project

Introduction
In today's society, a certain expectation has arisen for every company to make any product they sell or advertise accessible to anyone: any race, any disability, any where.  Yet unfortunately, this expectation is not always met.  For this project, the chance to create three different forms of one video put in the place of someone else's shoes that I never would have been able to experience before. I gained understanding and respect for hearing and visually impaired people who try every day to understand their surroundings, yet can't because they are not always inclusive to their lifestyle.  Accessible media is not always talked about, and I believe it is an important topic to learn and work on in the classroom, because we are the future. If we learn how to include everyone now, we will be able to decrease this issue when we are older.

How To: Pick the Perfect Foundation Shade for You For my still image video project, I decided to do a "How To' type of video on something I am very passionate about: makeup.  On a day to day basis, I am constantly watching and learning about new products in the makeup industry.  When I struggled to figure out a topic to do, I was shocked by how nonchalantly this topic came to me when my friend and I were on our way to the store to pick up some new makeup that we had previously run out of.  In my group of friends, I am the most consistently asked about different makeup products and my opinion and/or knowledge about them before my friends will go out and buy them. Commercials and Accessibility

Bud Light Vendor Commercial Hearing-Impaired Accessibility Overall, this commercial could be understood at the basic level by a person who is hearing-impaired. The concept of the vendor being everywhere, at good and bad times, is shown clearly throughout the commercial. At the end, it is obvious that the vendor needs to be back where he belongs, selling the product at a baseball game. Hearing-Impaired Improvements To make this commercial more accessible, I believe that adding simple subtitles throughout the commercial could make it better.  Adding subtitles at the end when the slogan is playing would especially help the hearing-impaired understand the purpose of the commercial more.
